I am Joeva Thomas, the Health Education and Beginning Kinesiology instructor at Sumter Central High School. As a high school instructor, I have learned that it is important to model the behaviors that we would like our students to mirror. I enjoy teaching outside the box, challenging my students, and sharing teachable moments with them. My support system consists of my loving husband, ten children, my mother, brother and sister. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, swimming the English Channel,  mountain climbing, and spending time with my six nieces (Destiny, Niyah, Liyah, Markerria, Maliyah, and Kevanna).
